Arenstyle Interior Architecture Design and Application
Arenstyle is a prestigious jewelry workshop that has been producing pearl jewelry for over 30 years in Fatih, Istanbul. As Alya Architecture, we created a modern and functional environment with the comprehensive interior renovation work we carried out in this 540 square meter area.
Correct design and a strong infrastructure are essential for the efficient operation of jeweler workshops. In such workshops, the settlement area usually varies between 50 and 1000 m² and they are businesses where movement is intense and can pose a health risk if the right precautions are not taken. In the Arenstyle project, we meticulously planned every detail from the management office to the production areas and ensured that these areas were both aesthetic and functional.
We created a modern and stylish environment in the management office, equipped with wooden desk details and ergonomic work areas. We brought together aesthetics and comfort with wooden parquets in natural colors and modern LED lighting elements. We also carefully designed the ventilation system of this area, ensuring a constant flow of fresh air.
We prioritized safety and functionality in the workshop section. We created an environment equipped with non-slip floor coverings, ergonomic work areas and fire safety equipment. We implemented lighting and sound insulation solutions, considering the comfort of the jewelers working in the setting workshop. We also provided a tidy work area with special tool drawers and cabinets.
In such workshop designs where there are acid, washing, steam, grinding and polishing areas, correct infrastructure and ventilation systems are of great importance. We have meticulously calculated and implemented the electrical and mechanical infrastructure. We have prevented air losses by adjusting the pressure balance between the spaces with ventilation calculations. The correct ventilation system reduces fatigue, headaches and respiratory problems by providing employees with fresh air. Thus, employees are provided with a more productive and healthy environment to work in.
Correct lighting choices were of great importance in this project. We selected appropriate lighting elements by considering factors such as light color and light strength in different parts of the workshop. While cold white light was used in areas where detailed work was done, warm white light was preferred for more relaxing and soothing areas. In this way, we increased the productivity of the employees by reducing their eye fatigue and stress levels.
In the jewelry design department, we created an ideal environment for designers to work efficiently with spacious and well-lit work desks. We provided a comfortable working atmosphere with LED fixtures that provide homogeneous light distribution and effective sound insulation. We also optimized design processes with material storage and organization systems.
As Alya Architecture, we successfully complete challenging and complex projects by working in coordination with our engineers at Alya Mechanical and Alya Electric. In our Kuyumcukent architectural projects, the quality, efficiency and cost of the work are of great importance.
